On Friday, April 22nd, the Erasmus+ KA220-HED – Cooperation partnerships in higher education project, entitled Digital Diplomacy: Building the Common Future with Technology, held its kick-off meeting, which took place in Zoom online environment.
The meeting was hosted by the project coordinator, Dr. Özgün Erler Bayır from the Istanbul University, Faculty of Political Sciences. The meeting was attended by all members of the consortium, which consist of the University of Tartu (Estonia), Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Italy), University of Bucharest (Romania), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), and Istanbul Commerce University (Turkey).
During the meeting, the consortium managed to get to know better the teams involved in the project as well as to discuss overall matters related to coordination of the project’s activities and budgetary matters. The consortium also agreed and established the channels of communication for the duration of the project and agreed on the schedule for the management meetings to discuss project’s progress and results.
During the project the partners will jointly work on 4 main results, which include:
- DD-Tech Module with 5 new courses on digital diplomacy
- Teacher Manual, which will help to integrate DD-Tech Module in teaching practices and existing parters’ curriculum
- DD-Tech platform, which will contain access to DD-Tech MOOC and didactica material of the module
- Monitoring instrument, which will help to track digital diplomacy skills
